  • Sat, June 30:  Scout shed clean-up party starting at 10:00 a.m.  Contact Tim for details.

  • Mon, June 25:  Mandatory summer camp meetings tonight for both Emerald Bay and Lost Valley summer camps.  Important information will be distributed for both summer camps.

  • Mon, June 18:  Court of Honor and last  regular meeting of the summer tonight at 7:30 p.m.  (Additional meetings may be scheduled for those attending summer camp so continue to check this site for details.)

  • Fri-Sun, June 15-17:  Colorado River trip!  Meet at the Scout Shed on Friday at 1:00 pm for a 2:00 pm departure.  We will be returning Sunday after 6:00 pm.  All of those going must read and use the checklist [ Here ].

  • Mon, June 11:  Special meeting place and time tonight!  Meet at the Barkley Community Center parking lot  at 7:00 p.m.  For complete details and directions click [Here].  Physical fitness tests for the Tenderfoot advancement requirement.  No uniforms required.

  • Sat, June 9:  St. George's annual parish barbeque tonight at 6:00 p.m.  All Scout families are encouraged to attend for a genuine Texas-Style BBQ and some Scouts will also be needed to help with the kids games.  The LCHS drum line will perform and there will be square dancing too.

  • Sat, June 9:  Cooper Green's Eagle Scout Court of Honor at 11:00 a.m. at St. George's with a luncheon to follow.

  • Mon, June 4:  Regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m.

  • Sat, June 2:  Scout Expo 2001 at Santa Anita Park.  Graham's Eagle Scout project will be the Red Cross blood drive as part of Scout Expo.

  • Mon, May 28:  Memorial Day.  Fundraising Sno Kone sales at Memorial Park after the parade.  No meeting tonight.

  • Mon, May 21:  Regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m.

  • Sat, May 19:  Soap Box Derby, Color Guard and fundraising Sno Kone sales by Troop 502.  We need help all day to make and sell Sno Kones as well as to cheer on our own Troop 502 race car.

  • Mon, May 14:  Special meeting place and time tonight!  Meet at the Barkley Community Center parking lot  at 7:00 p.m.  For complete details and directions click [Here].  All Scout Expo Ticket
    money must be brought to this meeting and any unsold tickets and candy must be returned to Mrs. Barnes this evening.

  • Mon, May 7:  Regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m.

  • Fri - Sun, May 4-6: Kern River Rafting. Meet at the Scout Shed at 3:15 p.m. Friday afternoon. Return Sunday by 2:00 p.m. Please read and use the checklist [ Here ]. All scouts need to have a signed release from Kern River Tours which is [ Here ]

  • Mon, April 30:  Regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m.

  • Sun, April 29Red Cross CPR training class at the Rose Bowl.  All Scouts and adults are strongly encouraged to attend and be certified.  Time to be announced.

  • Mon, April 23:  Regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m.

  • Mon, April 16:  It's tax day today, but we'll still be having our regular meeting tonight.

  • Thu, April 12:  All adult leaders should plan to attend Rose Bowl's Roundtable tonight and obtain their "Climb on Safely" certification card.  No registration, no fees, no hassle.  See the flyer for directions.

  • Mon, April 9:  No meeting tonight due to LC schools spring break.  We'll be in Death Valley tonight instead!

  • Sat-Tue, April 7-10Death Valley camping & exploring trip.  Meet at the Scout Shed at 7:00 a.m. Saturday morning.  Return to the Scout Shed by 6:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.  The weather forecast is:
