  • Mon, Sep 24:  Regular meeting tonight  at 7:15 p.m.  We will work on advancement and have Boards of Review for those requiring them before next Monday's Court of Honor.

  • Fri-Sun, Sep 21-23:  Campout at Horse Flat campground in the Angeles National Forest.  There will also be a 3-hour service project on Saturday sponsored by REI and the USFS.  Campers will receive a t-shirt and free lunch (as well as service hours), and the USFS is waiving the camping fees so this will be a low-budget trip.  Mr. Tran is coordinating this outing.  Meet at the scout shed at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.   • Mon, Sep 17:  Regular meeting starting at 7:15 p.m.  Please arrive at 7:00 p.m. to set up the room.  We will adjourn at 8:30 p.m.  We will work on advancement and have Boards of Review for those requiring them.

  • Mon, Sep 10:  First meeting of the 2001-2002 season starts at 7:15 p.m.  Please arrive at 7:00 p.m. to set up the room.  We will adjourn at 8:30 p.m.  These will be our new meeting times.

  • Mon, Aug 27: Bicycling merit badge trip to Manhattan Beach.  Enjoy biking and the beach!  Contact Mrs. Barnes, 818-249-5382, for details and reservations.

  • Sun-Sat, Aug 5-11: Lost Valley Summer Camp.  We also have a roster of everyone attending camp on the "Scouts Only" site (your password is needed to access this file).  Meet at the Scout Shed at 7:30 a.m. for departure to Lost Valley.  We will travel to camp in FULL CLASS A UNIFORM except no neckerchiefs; be sure your swim suits are accessible as soon as you get to camp.  Bring a sack lunch, snacks, and water; we won't be stopping for lunch in Temecula and dinner isn't until 5:00 pm.  Click on the following links for driving directions, the camp map, or the Scoutmasters' Almanac with full summer camp details.  We will return on Saturday the 11th around 2:00 p.m.  Click on the following links for the Permission/Medical form and the camp newsletter with merit badge and program information.

  • Mon, July 30: Mandatory summer camp meeting tonight for those attending Lost Valley at 7:30 p.m.,  Lower Softley Hall.

  •  Sat, July 28: Red Cross "Super CPR: training available, only $5 if pre-registered.  See the flyer for further details.

  • Sat, July 14: Scout shed clean-up party starting at 9:00 a.m.  Contact Tim for details.

  • July 14 to Aug 2: 2001 National Jamboree  Have fun, Ryan!

  • Sun-Sat, July 1-7: Emerald Bay, Catalina Summer Camp.  We also have a roster of everyone attending camp on the "Scouts Only" site (your password is needed to access this file). Click [ Here ] for all the forms (they are on the Parents page). Meet at the Scout Shed on Sunday the 1st at 10:30 am for a 11:00 am departure. We will be returning on Saturday the 7th at around 3:30 pm. Bring a healthy sack lunch for Sunday.
