• Mon, Sep 30:  Regular meeting tonight at 7:15 p.m.

• Fri, Sep 27- Sat, Sep 28:  The scheduled pre-Camporee and First Class training campout at Camp Eaton has been  cancelled due to the changes in the Rose Bowl District's Camporee schedule.

• Mon, Sep 23:  Regular meeting tonight at 7:15 p.m.  Patrol Leaders Council (PLC) meeting at 6:00 p.m.

• Mon, Sep 16:  Regular meeting tonight at 7:15 p.m.

• Mon, Sep 9:  Regular meeting tonight at 7:15 p.m.

• Mon, Aug 5: Chris and I have attempted to call each family to let them know that the Lost Valley camp is being evacuated due to the Pines Fire in San Diego County. (Some of you do not have voice mail.) There is no immediate danger to the campers. We think they will be home late tonight and we will start a phone tree as soon as we know the time of arrival. You may call Chris and me at 818.952.6000 for updates.
  
  You may also bring up the Orange County BSA web site at www.ocbsa.org to read about any updates. We have one extra van with 6 seats on the way to the evacuation rendez-vous point and we have the ability to send a second one as soon as we know if it is needed. Thank you Shushnar and Graf families.
  
  We do not know yet about the campers ability to evacuate with equipment and camping gear. You may also link to the California Department of Forestry from the OCBSA site or you may go to www.ca.gov  and search the state web site for CDF information.

• Sat, Aug 3-Sat, Aug 10 :  Summer camp at Lost Valley Scout Reservation

• Mon, Jul 29:  Meeting at 7:00 p.m. at St. George's for all Scouts attending Lost Valley summer camp.   We will discuss Troop organization at summer camp and program opportunities.

• Mon, Jul 15:  Meeting at 7:00 p.m. at St. George's for all persons attending the Sierra backpacking trip.  Last time to sign up for the backpacking trip.  Call Mrs. Barnes at 818-249-5382 if you have any questions.
