• Mon, July 19: Mandatory summer camp planning and formation meeting on Monday, July 19 at 7:00 pm in Lower Softly Hall at St. George's.

• Thu-Sat, Jun 17-19:  Colorado River canoeing and camping trip. Click here for the checklist.  Meet by 1:00 pm at the Scout shed. EAT BEFORE you
  get there.  Bring cash for the arcade and three on-the-road meals ($40-50).  Estimated return time of 6-7 pm on Saturday.
  

• Mon, Jun 14:  Special (shortened) meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. at St. George's to make final preparations for the Colorado River trip.

• Mon, Jun 7:  June Court of Honor at 7:30 p.m. at St. George's.

• Mon, May 31:   Memorial Day Holiday.  We will have our Sno-Kone Booth at the Memorial Day picnic in the park.  No meeting tonight.

• Mon, May 24: Regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. at St. George's.  Also, there is also a Parents' meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. too.

• Fri-Sun, May 21-23: Kern River White Water Rafting Campout. Click here for the checklist.

• Mon, May 17: Regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. at St. George's.  Final preparations for the Kern River trip.

• Sat, May 15: Eagle Court of Honor for Justin Leeka, St. George's at 3:00 p.m.

• Mon, May 10: Camp Three Falls meeting at 6:30 at St. George's for all Scouts and parents whose sons are going to Camp Three Falls.  This will be a one hour session before the regular meeting. Medical release forms, authorization forms for various activities in camp, and a run-down of the merit badges offered and a description of how the program works at the camp are the key topics. This will be an important and very interesting meeting!

• Mon, May 3: Regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. at St. George's.

• Mon, Apr 26: Parents: tonight is a mandatory parent's meeting at 7:30.  We will be reviewing this past year and making preparations for not only the change-over in scout leadership, but the infusion of new ideas and talents from all the parents, including our newest parents to the troop. We need the vitality and enthusiasm of all the people of the troop, scouts and parents included! Please plan on attending -- our sons need you!
  
  Scouts: especially our newest scouts (Matthew, Casey, Riley, Sean K, Eddy, Ryan L, Raymond, Alex, Steve, Dan and Conor) -- if you are needing to take the physical fitness test on your way to becoming a Tenderfoot Class scout -- your senior scouts have arranged to provide you with an opportunity to take the initial test tonight, 4/26. Come prepared for running, jumping, push-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups -- wear comfortable clothes (Class B uniform, if you have it). You will be driven over to FIS after the meeting has started, and will return at the conclusion of the test (and before the end of the meeting). Please make every effort to attend this meeting!

• Sat-Sun, Mar 27-28:  Backpacking trip, Henninger Flats

• Mon, Mar 22: Regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. at St. George's.

• Sun, Mar 21:   The Great Troop 502 Wall Climb, Hangar 18, Upland, 2 to 5 p.m.  For questions call Jeff Foster at 818-790-0875. See this flyer for all the details.  This release form must be signed before you can attend.

• Mon, Mar 15: Regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. at St. George's.

• Fri-Sun, Mar 12-14: Lost Valley cabin camping with rifle and shotgun shooting sports.  Meet at the Scout Shed at 5:00 p.m. on Friday for immediate departure.  We will return Sunday at 2:00 p.m.  Bring money for food Friday evening and Sunday afternoon and some extra for camp in case the camp store is open.  You must bring a signed firearms permission slip which is available [here].  Please also bring the essential items from the personal gear checklist [here].

• Mon, Feb 23: Congratulations to the 11 Scouts who earned the Family Life Merit Badge tonight, and thanks to Mr. Lowe who made it possible!  We also congratulate our two new Star Scouts, our new Tenderfoot Scout, and the 8 new Webelos who completed their requirements for the rank of Scout tonight!

• Mon, Feb 23: Regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. at St. George's.

• Sat-Sun, Feb 21- 22:  Based on weather conditions, we have decided to cancel this weekend's kayaking trip to Newport Dunes. However, in its place, we will have a "mystery hike," from 9 a.m. on Saturday to approximately 11 a.m. This will be a local hike and not too strenuous, perfect for many of our younger scouts but still fun for everyone. Meet at the scout shed at 9.m. sharp on Saturday. Parents and families are welcome to hike with the scouts. Bring ten essentials (don't forget your poncho), plenty of water, and a CAMERA.

• Mon, Feb 16: No regular meeting tonight due to President's Day Holiday.  Scouts going on the Newport Beach trip will have a short meeting at 7:30 p.m. to prepare for the trip next weekend.

• Mon, Feb 9: Court of Honor at 7:30 p.m.  Be early for set-up!!

• Sat, Feb 7:   Henniger Flats Day Hike

• Mon, Feb 2: Regular meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. at St. George's. Final Boards of Review before the next Court of Honor.
