Troop 502 has uniform standards for
various events and meetings.
For purposes of convenience, they are described as Class
A-1, A-2, A-3, B, and C. These are internal reference names only; BSA does not have
official standards corresponding to these names.
Uniform Classes

Short sleeve shirt with full insignia
Merit badge sash
Official
long pants, belt and buckle
Troop
502 neckerchief and official slide
Dark
shoes, preferably dark brown leather
Class
A-2
Short sleeve shirt with full insignia
Official
long pants or shorts, belt and buckle
Troop
502 neckerchief and official slide
Class
A-3
Short sleeve shirt with full insignia

Order of Arrow election meeting, Class A-3
Service projects (manual labor), Class C (unless otherwise specified)
Service projects (no manual labor), Class A-3 or B (as specified)
Sno Kone booth or other Memorial Day service, Class B
Summer camp, Class A-2 (arrival only), then A-2, A-3, Class B, or Class C

Troop
502 wears the neckerchief tucked under the shirt collar, the
collar is not buttoned, and the ends of the neckerchief are left
handing loose. The Order of the Arrow sash may be worn with the Class A-2 or
A-3 uniforms when appropriate.
The merit badge sash and Order of the Arrow sash may not
be worn together.
